Yep it really sucks. We do have a few tricks up our sleeve to assist with the discomfort so let’s discuss this during your consultation.
Before a tattoo can be lasered it needs to heal, if we laser it before this it will create scar tissue. We recommend a minimum healing period of 12 weeks after a tattoo has been applied before any laser removal begins.
It is highly unlikely that the laser will scar your skin. Our super talanted and accredited technicians work with the upmost care to ensure you get the best results!
Yes, the laser can be adjusted to do precision work.
We use a medical grade Revlite Laser that targets the pigment in the tattoo with ultra short amplified light, this then breaks up and shatters the pigment particles. These particles are then engulfed by the bodies immune cells and eliminated through the bodies waste pathways (sweat, urine etc).
This will depend on what you are trying to achieve and the quality of the tattoo you are trying to remove. For example, most amatuer tattoos are easier and faster to remove than professionally applied work. That said good results can be achieved quite quickly on all types of tattoos. We can give you a better idea on what results can be achieve when we meet you.
